Operations Trainer

This is an exciting new role for our large and dynamic manufacturing site! In this highly visible role reporting to the HR Director and dotted line reporting into Plant Leadership, this role is responsible for setting and executing on our campus-wide training strategy. **WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:** + Responsible for identifying and developing training needs for personnel in various manufacturing, certification and re-certification tasks and processes through internal stakeholder partnership + Responsible for preparing training programs and surveying employee training needs, as well as preparing the didactic material and/or arranging the needed resources. + Responsible for planning, organizing, and coordinating all training activities + Assess additional training needs and providers to meet the strategic needs of the business + Maintain proper training documentation for all employees + Maintain data and report out on critical training metrics for the identified locations + Stays current with technologies and training concepts **YOU HAVE:** + Bachelor's degree (B.A., B.S.) or 6+ years of manufacturing/operations based training + 4+ years of experience within operations training required + Exposure to training experience within a manufacturing environment required + Experience in training strategy development and execution and training content development and facilitation + Skilled in full cycle process/project management, planning and change management. + Ability to teach and facilitate groups using data for decision making. + Ability to build relationships and partner effectively with all levels of the organization **WE HAVE:** + A dynamic global reach with diverse operations around the world that will stretch your abilities, provide plentiful career opportunities, and allow you to make an impact every day + nVent is a leading global provider of electrical connection and protection solutions. Employee pay within this range will be based on a combination of factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, education, and performance. Where federal, state, or local minimum wage requirements exist, employee pay will comply. **Compensation Range:** $76,000.00 - $141,100.00 Depending on the position offered, employee may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as annual incentives. **Benefit Overview** At nVent, we value our people and their health and well-being.
