Operations Training Manager- BWW GO

RESPONSIBILITIES

Pre-opening Responsibilities

Supports Manager of NROs and restaurant-level managers with pre-opening logistics: training materials, uniforms and Pre-Opening Training KitParticipates in weekly BWW GO Open Strong preparation calls with restaurant management teamCommunicates NRO training plan and agenda and coordinates scheduled NRO training sessions with company and franchise leadership teamsCoordinates the recommended opening inventory pars and delivery timeline with restaurant management

Training Week Responsibilities

Executes NRO training planObserves and assesses performance of restaurant team during training sessions on skill, accuracy, development, understanding and application of learned skills • Leads train-the-trainer (TTT) session with multi-unit operator and restaurant management team ahead of NRO training sessionLeads training week kickoff with support from restaurant management teamConducts daily restaurant management team meetings and wrap up meetings to calibrate NRO performance, set goals and action stepsCollaborates and troubleshoots with IT on all technical needsCoordinates with Construction and restaurant management team to create turnover punch list itemsReviews two-week post-opening restaurant support schedule with restaurant management and multi-unit operator

Operations Week Responsibilities

Conducts daily recap of restaurant performance and execution with restaurant management team and multi-unit operatorRecommends potential WCTs and possible Shift Manager candidates to management team

Ongoing Additional Responsibilities

Connects with restaurant and multi-unit operators as needed with frequency to discuss long term performanceCoaches teams to provide outstanding guest service, product quality, friendliness, cleanliness, order accuracy and speed of serviceSupports system-wide rollouts/activations and introductions of new products, tools and servicesSupports all restaurant training initiatives and programs for consistent executionDiligently follows and enforces food and general safety requirements and models behavior that protects them and othersLeads by example, maintaining an excellent working knowledge, business acumen and a high proficiency in all aspects of restaurant operations and reporting platformsMaintains a culture of diversity and inclusion while personifying company core valuesEnsures compliance with all local, state and federal lawsStays current on all federal, state, local and company required training and certificationsAs needed, reviews marketing plans, local store marketing (LSM) playbook, commercial strategies, consumer purchasing channels (online ordering and thirdparty delivery)As needed, performs restaurant audits to ensure policies, procedures, brand standards and reputation are followedOther duties as assigned

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum 21 years of ageHigh school diploma or equivalent, preferred 4-year degree5+ years’ experience with any combination of restaurant operations experience and educationCertified in any state, county or local food handling requirementsCoursework in restaurant managementLeadership experience within a corporate structureExperience in restaurant-level management and trainingExperience in new restaurant openings and support

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS or ABILITIES

General knowledge of labor laws, health codes, safe food handling and sanitation, safety and security systems and procedures and computer operationsExcellent influential, collaborative and relationship building skillsSuperior guest service and hospitality skillsSelf-motivated and a passion for teaching othersSuccessful management of multiple priorities with attention to detail and organization in a fast-paced work environmentWorks autonomously and cross-functionally with integrityExemplary interpersonal skills
