Primary Job Function: The function of this job is to produce card sliver for drawing process in a safe and
efficient manner.

 

 Be prepared at shift change to promptly assume job responsibilities. Communicate with
off going operator about existing problems.
 Operate 13 Rieter C70 cards safely and in a way to insure maximum quality and
efficiency. Correct machine stops and repair broken sliver by splicing the ends together.
 Clean scrapper blades, bottom rollers under web control, twist out front.
 Waste cans should be emptied as often as necessary.
 Clean between cards and sweep carding area at 9:30, 2:30 and 5:30 or as often as
necessary to maintain good housekeeping at all times.
 All Doors on cards must be closed.
 All plastic covers must be on cards.
