Overview of the Role
You'll discover a stimulating atmosphere that fosters your professional growth in a clean and safe environment. Reporting to the Supervisor, Production, the Operator, Production (Feta/Fruilano) is responsible for assisting in the manufacturing and finishing/packaging of cheese in accordance with the standards and safety objectives established by Senior Management of the company.
Schedule: Tuesday - Friday, 6:00am - 4:00pm
Salary: $25.90/h
There are 2 salary increases in the first year of employment, with a target rate of $28.80/hour.

Complete processes which relate to Friulano/Feta/Table productionOperate all equipment in the Feta/Fruilano departmentRecord all required data and inventory entries with a high level of accuracyComplete Sanitation duties, which include the disassembly and re-assembly of equipment for cleaning as per standard operating proceduresAdhere to Standard Operating Procedures to ensure the highest quality product possibleMust demonstrate teamwork, co-operation, responsibility, initiative and the ability to work with minimal supervisionEnsures that safe conditions exist always within the work environment; will take appropriate action to protect the health and safety of employees and comply with all requirements as stated in the Health and Safety policyFull participation in the HACCP program and adherence to Good Manufacturing PracticesOther duties as assignedYou are best suited for the role if you have the following qualifications:
Successful completion of the Plant Milk and Cheese Grading courseSound communication and interpersonal skills; demonstrated analytical and organizational skills. Must be self-motivated, results oriented and possess high degree of initiative, and work well with minimal supervision.Must be available to work various shifts, weekends, and work overtime as required.Working knowledge of computers, high school diploma preferred (but not required).Proficiency and dependability in current position.Saputo welcomes and encourages applications from people with disabilities.
