SIGN ON BONUS AVAILABLE - $2,500 for day shift hire and $3,500 for night shift hire - this will be paid out over a 1-year period
You Will Spend Your Time:
Monitoring and operating the equipment on the production line in a 24 / 7 / 365 operation Complying with all company policies including, but not limited to, Quality, Safety, Food Safety, Environmental, GMP’s, HACCP, Early Reporting of Pain, and AttendanceMonitoring the manufacturing process and equipment to assure it is operating properly and make minor mechanical adjustments when necessaryRecognizing atypical/incorrect conditions and contact the LeadMaintaining accurate written records or logs Assembling and disassembling production equipment as required by processes and Work InstructionsHousekeepingVacation & sick coverage of opposite shift when requiredCooperates/assists co-workers as required.Other duties may be assignedKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:High school diploma or general education degree (GED) Must be able to read, communicate, comprehend, and follow oral and written procedures and instructionsMust have the basic understanding of computers to check email and navigate the internet for safety training and have the ability to learn new systems quicklyPrevious work experience in a food manufacturing/GMP environment is preferredAbility to read, write, and speak English is requiredPrevious fork-lift experience is preferred Mechanical aptitude; experience troubleshooting equipment and machines is preferredStrong written and verbal communication skillsStrong multi-tasking, problem solving and time management skills
