Eaton’s ES AMER PCS division is currently seeking a Operator. The core hours are 7:00 am to 3:30 pm.  The hourly rate for this position is $16.25 per hour.

 

What you’ll do:

This position is responsible for the set up and operation of various machines to produce quality parts based on pre-determined specifications. 
 

Studies blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals, specifications, and sample parts to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished workpiece or setup requirementsSets up, starts, and observes machine operations to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining, and troubleshoots or adjusts machine controls as requiredRotates through department and operates a variety of machines as directed Completes changeovers and material feed-throughCompletes first piece inspections and machine guarding checklistsUses gauges and calipers to inspect and verify conformance of finished workpiece to specificationsPerforms other duties as assignedQualifications:

Basic (Required) Qualifications:

Must be legally authorized to work in the US without company sponsorshipMust have a high school diploma or GED from an accredited institutionNo relocation benefit is offered for this position. Only candidates residing within the immediate area of LaGrange, NC (50 miles) will be considered for this position.This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Preferred Qualifications:  

Previous machine operating experience in a manufacturing environment

Position Criteria:

Knowledge of various measuring instruments and ability to read blueprints.
