About the role
As an Operator you will play a pivotal role in the day-to-day running of our Traditional Cask Filling Store based at Cambus.
You’ll work within the filling store team and be responsible for the day-to-day operation of one of our 2 filling lines. You’ll be required to support a range of activities including filling and emptying casks and the safe movement of spirit in casks either manually or by using site equipment. You’ll be working in a team of 20 operators to ensure that we are hitting our daily KPIs, health and safety standards and production efficiency targets to maximise performance.
Health and safety compliance is key, and you’ll be at the forefront of making sure this is monitored alongside other Key Performance Indicators and targets including quality, efficiency, energy management, planning and cost efficiency.
The Operator role will cover a rotating 3-shift pattern consisting of Dayshift (06.00 – 14.00), Backshift (14.00 – 22.00), and Nightshift (22.00 – 06.00).

As an Operator you will be expected to demonstrate high levels of teamwork and flexibility working in your core role as well as supporting other areas. The role involves working in a large team production environment and good communication is essential. Working to the highest level of Health & Safety is expected from all personnel working within Diageo.

· Communicate effectively with other team members
