In this role, you will ensure that all machinery is running efficiently, producing quality product, and complete minor mechanical work. **JOB DUTIES:** + Consistently and safely operate thermoforming machines at or above standard operating levels, including safety, quality, efficiency, scrap, and utilization. This includes packing the finished product into bags and boxes. + Troubleshoot, identify, and correct machine-related problems through proper adjustments to various machine parts. + Provide innovative solutions for production issues. + Provide support and guidance to less experienced personnel. + Complete appropriate end-of-shift paperwork, accounting for crewing time, machine time, and production quantities. + Inspect and recognize defective products and make machine adjustments to correct the cause of defects. + Observe all housekeeping, standard work, and safety guidelines. **Qualifications** **REQUIRED JOB QUALIFICATIONS:** + Qualified candidates’ will have 1-year experience in a fast-paced production environment with some mechanical knowledge of industrial systems. + Complete required training/documentation to be a B – Operator within specified time frame. + Mechanical aptitude, demonstrated problem solving skills and effective communication skills - written and verbal are required. + Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment. + Must be able to stand on your feet and work for an entire 12 hour shifts **Pactiv Evergreen** is now a part of Novolex.
