Job Duties

 

Operate mixers for Blending of colorants

 

Weigh-up batches into kits, drums and/or tubs

 

Operate incoming solvent manifold

 

Operate filling and filter manifold

 

Verify proper staging and availability of raw materials in staging area

 

Manufacture product per batch ticket instructions

 

Maintain equipment and tools

 

Dispose of waste materials, empty containers and restock piece drums by labeling and re-weighing.

 

Properly fill, label to manufacturing/customer request and seal containers for shipping.

 

Properly stage all finished products for removal by forklift truck operators

 

Transfer products from one container to another.

 

Keep work areas clean inside and outside of production area

 

Complete ASI and self safety inspections

 

Operate forklift and perform daily forklift inspections     Other duties as assigned

 

Educational and Special Aptitude

 

 

Ability to handle drums and related safety equipment

 

Ability to read and write and do simple arithmetic

 

Ability to read process gauges (i.e. pressure, temperature, weight, etc.)

 

Dexterity in working with valves and pumps

 

Ability to work with batch tickets by reporting activities, (i.e. material adds, notation of manufacturing progress)
