Cable Communication Services
An Equipment Operator’s primary responsibility is to complete assigned tasks safely and accurately using construction equipment such as: skid steers, mini/midsize excavators, rubber-tire backhoe, small/large dozer, small/large cable plow, rocksaw, small/midsize trenchers, midsize/large Vac truck and trailers, small/midsize bore machines, with experience operating this equipment around existing utilities.
What You'll Do Loading and unloading equipment from vehicles used to transportInspecting equipment before and after use to ensure it’s in good working orderDriving or controlling equipment to complete tasks at the construction siteMonitoring performance and adjusting settings as required to perform tasks correctlyTracking scheduled maintenance of equipment and notifying their Supervisor if maintenance is past dueFilling out performance records to report problems with equipment and track where and when it was usedCleaning equipment after use and disposing of any collected scraps or wasteCompleting minor repair work as needed What You'll BringRequired:
High School Diploma or GEDAt least 3 years of equipment operating experienceKnowledge of all phases of Utility constructionSkill set to operate equipment with a high degree of competency, skill, and proficiencyValid, Active Driver's LicenseValid, Active DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate

Valid, Active CDL APre-screen: Upon offer, employees will be required to complete and pass a pre-employment drug screen, background, and/or MVR check.
