POLISHING LINE OPERATOR II – NIGHT SHIFT

PAY:  $17.35 per hour  2nd shift differential $0.20, 3rd shift differential 

 $.50

 

Monday - Friday

 

The polish line operator ensures quality materials are produced in a timely manner to meet production needs.   

Changes polishing pads when pads are damaged or depleted. Measures and records tile sizes. Inspects tile for damage or for conformity to specifications.  Documents quality of materials. Maintains communication with supervisor to report quality issues.  Moves materials or products to or from conveyor.  Dislodges jams by hand.  Records production quantities.  Keeps work area clean and orderly.

 

High school diploma or equivalent experience.  3 years previous manufacturing/production experience.   Good oral and written communications skills.  Good record keeping skills. Good listening skills. Accurate measurement capability.  Ability to understand and speak basic English. Ability to work in a safe and conscientious manner. Must be Dal-Tile certified to operate powered industrial trucks.
