If this sounds outstanding to you, take the first step forward and explore a career with Dal-Tile. **OPERATOR II - KILN DEPARTMENT** **PAY: $17.35 per hour** **SHIFT: 6am to 6pm** **1** **st** **WEEK: Sunday, Wednesday and Thursday (36 hours)** **2** **nd** **WEEK: Monday, Tuesday, Friday and Saturday (48 hours** Monitors movement of tile through the kiln firing process. + Monitors tile entering and exiting the kiln to ensure process is operating efficiently. + Inspects tile for defects. + Records temperature of kiln every hour during shift. + Monitors equipment or processes and reports problems to supervisor. + Follows standard operating procedures. + Keeps area safe, clean and organized. + Performs other related duties as required. High school diploma or equivalent experience. 1 or more years previous manufacturing/production experience. Good oral and written communications skills. Good record keeping skills. Good listening skills. Accurate measurement capability.
