Job Summary
The Forklift Operator is responsible for keeping production lines running by removing product the line and store it in its proper location in the warehouse. This is a 2nd shift (2:00pm – 10:00pm), 8hr role working Monday – Friday with occasional Saturdays. Work hours are subject to change to meet business needs.

Facility Expectation Follow the expectations of all Safety, Health, Environmental, and Quality standards.Ensure product quality expectations are met.Follow all facility Good Manufacturing Practices as required.Responsible for ensuring area is kept clean and completion of all listed housekeeping duties per the master sanitation schedule.Work with other Operations colleagues to effectively communicate production issues.Participate in morning toolbox, shift exchange/review and response meetings to communicate your key process indicator performance.Once qualified, provide mentoring and training to new colleagues.Required to work overtime as specified by management.Attend training classes in-plant or at other locations as assigned.Job DescriptionOperate forklifts and floor sweeper in safe mannerComplete daily inspectionsCommunicate with packaging operators, assist with change overs, resolve issues efficientlyReplenishing packaging materials. Ex. Pallets, stretch wrap, slip sheets, etc.Rotate inventoryMaintain an organized warehouse, ensure product is in its designated location.Verify and sign off on production operators paperworkHousekeeping, including sweeping out rows before replacing productAll other task assigned by plant managementAt times, overtime will be required.Minimum RequirementsHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalentPrior experience in a manufacturing environment is preferredAbility to act in a professional manner and adhere by ADM’s Code of ConductMust be able to lift up to 55 lbsMust be able to perform physical tasks for extended periods of time including standing, walking, climbing, bending, pushing, pulling and twisting over surfacesAbility to wear protective clothing and equipment such as safety shoes, face masks, safety glasses, hearing protection, a hard hat, and gloves when requiredAbility to work in hot, cold, noisy, dusty, wet working conditionsAbility to work with allergens that might be present in a manufacturing environmentSelf-motivated with a solid work ethicGood attitude and works well in team atmosphere.Handles other duties as required.Maintain excellent attendance.ADM requires the successful completion of a background check.
