Your Role:

 

An Operator/Repairman will be required to be able to successfully perform any of the plant job components for any of the outlined work areas. Specific responsibilities include:

 

Operate forklifts and manual lift stations · Operate pumps, valves, filters, and associated piping and equipment for the purpose of chemical batch manufacturingOperate Neutralization EquipmentAttach unloading hoses, and operate the necessary equipment to unload bulk raw materials to storage tanks and blend tanksOperate pumps, valves, filters, and associated piping and equipmentApply labels, stencils, or other positive identification to the products as directed to ensure safe handling and adequate quality controlTorque bung closures and diptubes to manufacturer’s recommended values with minimum variationRe-pour chemicals from one container to another for the purpose of re-work, re-packaging, and/or disposalRemove/inventory/install Customer Supplied Diptubes from/into containersPerform minor and routine maintenance, PM, and repairs to equipment in assigned area that training has been conductedPressure test and perform general maintenance activities on non-bulk reusable containersOperate hand tools, power tools, and material handling equipment (e.g. forklifts, pallet jacks, stackers, lawn equipment) as requiredWork in conjunction with Maintenance Persons to achieve major repairs to installationsLoad/Unload finished product packaging supplies/containers to/from trailersEvaluate data and take the appropriate action to control the process utilizing SQC/SPC toolsPerform incoming/outgoing material inspectionsProvide proactive housekeeping and stocking of routine supplies in the operator’s area of responsibilityUtilize RFID & bar coding equipment for identification and inventory purposesMaintain the necessary logs and documentation to ensure a safe and efficient workplace including safe work permits issued in work area assignedPerform any and all miscellaneous duties as assigned by supervisionKnow and comply with the environmental, health, and safety requirements of their job

 

Physical Attributes:
 

Lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly during shift Operate a workstation while continuously standing, walking, extending and/or reaching during the course of an 8-12 hour shift

 

Who You Are

 

Minimum Qualifications:

 

High School Diploma or GED2+ years of experience in a chemical plant
