Job Description

Seeking two (2) suitably qualified and reliable Operator Servicing - Process Plant to optimize performance of all operating circuits within the plant, while working safely and efficiently, by following sound operating philosophies and standard operating procedures and actively participating in the departmental training scheme to ensure optimization of the plant occurs at all times. The role will report to the Supervisor - Process Operations.

Some key accountabilities include:

Provides basic technical support to Process Ops and Process team;Assists in tracking and documenting consumable usage and costs;Recognizes common hazards, unsafe conditions, and near misses that occur at work and responds effectively to mitigate harm to individuals and damage to property;Follows organizational procedures and protocols for workplace emergencies, including safe evacuation, and emergency response;Safely Operate the Process Mobile equipment in accordance with OGPI Didipio Mine Standard Operating Procedure and gain authorization to operate;Performs routine pre-operation inspections and basic maintenance tasks to ensure their proper functioning and reports any issues or malfunctions promptly;Carries out pre-start equipment checklist and identify faulty component of the overhead crane;Monitor the consistent supply of reagents, proper packaging and stacking of materials at Reagent Shed; andPerform Mixing and Safe handling of reagents in accordance with the Standard Operating Procedure.

QualificationsBehaviour consistent with OceanaGold Values and the OceanaGold Way;At least a High School Graduate or Trade Certificate;With Knowledge and skill in the utilization of mobile equipment such as Skid Steer Loader, Forklift, Telehandler and Overhead Crane;With Knowledge in Pay Loader operation and Haul Truck operation is an advantage.With previous experience with Mining, Production, Manufacturing Environment is an advantage;Work well without supervision and demonstrate initiative;Holding various certificates which may include TESDA Driving NC II, TESDA Driving (Straight Truck) NC III, TESDA HEO Wheel Loader NC II, TESDA HEO Forklift NC II, TESDA HEO Gantry Crane NCII,  and TESDA HEO Forklift NC II;With a valid Professional Driver’s License (code B, B1,B2); andDrive for continuous improvement and innovation.
