Production Manager
Your role and responsibilities•\tThe role functions as a member of an area team that is directly responsible for efficient productions of quality products in the required quantities. •\tMust ensure efficiency, operational conformance, product quality and continuous improvement.•\tTrain and/or perform the tasks of the other associates in the area as needed. •\tPerform various job on the Sub assembly line: build, line load, assemble parts and other components. •\tAssemble a motor from components per an Assembly diagram and written instructions. Must be able to comprehend all work instructions.•\tUse of flex flow and day and rank system •\tUse of various hand tools, air tools, and torque wrenches, various gages, and indicators. •\tWork defect free work and meet minimum production guidelines. •\tCommunicate with other operators and supervisor to discuss any problems.•\tIdentify and order appropriate supplies, parts, and tools as needed.•\tPlace safety in the workplace above all else and follow safety guidelines along with reporting safety issues.•\t Daily housekeeping. •\tWork overtime as needed. •\tOther duties as assigned.
Qualifications for the role\tHS Diploma or equivalent required. 1 Year of Industrial type experience or military service or in lieu of industrial experience will consider vocational/ technical high school and technical college courses.\tStable work history that demonstrates reliability or in lieu of work history will consider vocational/ technical high school and college courses and military service. \tPrevious motor experience preferred. \tMust pass a drug screen and background check.\tCandidates must have a work authorization that would permit them to work in the United States.Specialized skills or other requirements:\tSteady work history\t\tReliable transportation to and from work\tAdaptable to change and ability to cross-train\tDetailed oriented\tMust be able to work any shift\tRequires the use of a hoist\tMust be able to operate a forklift and maintain a forklift license\tThese jobs require strong communication, interpersonal and team building skills to support site objectives\tRequires basic computer skillsPhysical Demands:\tRequires repetitive lifting, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, and twisting motions. Lifting to 25-30 lbs. frequently and up to 50 lbs. occasionally. Use hoist for heavier part/motors. \tOperator will constantly use hand tools, power tools, and be able to grip various sizes of components and tools used to assemble motor.\tOperator will constantly use fine finger manipulation to accomplish pre‐assembly, assembly, or finishing tasks.\tUnderstand and use all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) \tMay requires the use of an air manipulator for lifting motors, would depend on frame size/are that the motor is being assembled\tAble to work 40 hrs a week and required overtime\tAbility to think independently while successfully functioning in a team environment\tAble to perform task in a manufacturing environment\tStanding on concrete floor all day\tExposure to sealants, silicone, and various greases
