Operator Trainee II
General Responsibilities: * Ensures all DMS checklists and documentation is filled out completely and correctly. * Loads roll stand. * Keeps ink at correct viscosity. (Cut 2) * Cleaning ink stations. (Cut 2) * Operates the butt splicer. * Inspects for quality of printing and cutting. * Packs cartons on pallets for W.I.P. or in corrugated cases for finished goods warehouse. * Places the tag in the load for CNG pallets. * Assists presspersons with setting up machine during make ready. * Assists operator with locating corrugated cases where applicable. * Responsible for product safety and product quality, and reports product safety and product quality problems to Senior Management or Quality Manager. QUALIFICATIONS: * Must have the ability to read and comprehend simple instructions. * Must be able to understand and communicate in English. * Must be able to pass a basic reading test. * Must have the ability to perform basic arithmetic including addition and subtraction. * Must be willing to work overtime as needed; significant overtime may be required during busy periods. * Must be able to maintain good attendance. * Must be able to identify quality issues. * Must be able to perform all essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
