The Bascom Palmer Eye Institute is currently seeking candidates for the Ophthalmic Technician Training Program. This is a 10 Week Program to upstart your career as an Ophthalmic Technician. The training program will teach students practical ophthalmic skills to include: history taking, ocular examination, medical administration, medical procedures, and patient safety.

Minimum Requirements:

The minimum requirements are high school diploma or equivalent education and computer literacy.

Patient safety is a top priority.
