Ophthalmic Photographer

Performs a variety of ophthalmic photography and diagnostic tests to assist Ophthalmology Department physicians nurses and other technical support personnel to evaluate Eye Clinic patients.
+ Performs ophthalmic photography.
+ Provides patient services for ophthalmic photography.
+ Performs visual field testing.
+ Performs ocular motility testing.
+ Performs patient work-ups.
+ Performs ophthalmic measurements.
+ Provides patient services.
+ Maintains ophthalmic exam lanes clinic area and equipment.
+ Continues professional growth.
+ In addition to the above job responsibilities, other duties may be assigned.
Position Compensation Range: $24.24 - $38.78 Hourly
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education: High School Graduate or Equivalent
Experience: 2 years of Photography experience
Licensure: Certified Ophthalmic Technician or Certified Ophthalmic Assistant preferred. American Hearth Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Health Care Provider BLS certification required.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Job requires standing for prolonged periods, frequently bending/stooping/traveling: (distance: 50 feet), reaching (overhead, extensive, repetitive). Proficient communicative, auditory and visual skills; Attention to detail and ability to write legibly; Ability to lift/push/pull 50 – 100lbs. May be exposed to blood/body fluids and infectious disease.
