Ops Analysis Senior Manager

Boeing Defense, Space & Security Phantom Works division is looking for a Ops Analysis Senior Manager to lead the Operations Analysis (OA) Capability across the enterprise. This manager will lead the entirety of the OA efforts, including Effectiveness, Combat Vulnerability, Lethality, and Affordability, leveraging high performing teams of analysts and engineers to help define the future.

This team is geographically diverse, with locations in Colorado Springs, CO, Berkeley, MO and Arlington, VA. 

Primary Responsibilities:

Lead 5+ managers with a team of 100+ analysts

Management focal for the BDS OA Capability including hiring, training, analyst deployment, support to programs, projects and cross-site coordination/collaboration.

Coordinate with BDS divisions and programs to identify OA staffing levels, skillsets, schedules, and funding profiles 

Collaborate with key customers across the BDS portfolio, including the Virtual Warfare Center, to ensure OA capabilities align with customer needs and timelines. Responsible to ensure development and maintenance of OA tools, technology, and staff development roadmaps to keep Boeing OA at the forefront of the defense industry. Advocate with government model managers for government furnished tools. Oversee suppliers for commercially developed tools. Set priorities for internal software engineering support.  

Provide input to the VWC Infrastructure Team regarding computing and collaboration technology resources required to maintain industry leading OA capability 

Serve as Design Practice focal for all DPs related to OA, to include effectiveness, vulnerability and lethality analysis 

Serve as focal for obtaining funding for tool development and training creation 

This position requires an active U.S. Top Secret Security Clearance (US Citizenship Required).  (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.)

This position requires ability to obtain program access, for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship only.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field

10+ years managing or leading technical teams 

10+ years in the OA community – to include effectiveness, vulnerability, and lethality. 

5+ years working across multiple programs to satisfy multiple stakeholders 

Experience developing and presenting recommendations to senior leaders (General Officer, Flag Officer, company Vice President/General Manager or equivalents.) 

Leadership experience spanning internally funded and contracted analyses 

Preferred Qualifications:

Graduate degree in engineering, math, physics, or management 

Adversarial Red Teaming experience 

Experience in virtual and constructive simulation environments 

Experience leading large and/or complex simulation and analysis activities 

Proposal experience for proposing OA work and/or with platform/system proposals involving OA submissions 

Analysis experience across multiple domains (subsurface, surface, land, air, and space) 

Experience across the defense product lifecycle, including Analysis of Alternatives, prototyping, design maturation, growth and provisioning, and international defense Sales 

Experience across subsystem, engagement, mission, and campaign analysis

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. 

USA - Arlington, VA Pay Range: $191,250 - $258,750

USA – Berkeley, MO Pay Range: $178,500 - $241,500

USA - Colorado Springs, CO Pay Range: $178,500 - $241,500
