Job Description:

The Extension Blueberry Lab in the Horticultural Sciences Department is hiring OPS personnel to assist with harvesting blueberry research plots. Transportation will be provided. These positions will last for the duration of the blueberry harvest season which typically begins in early March and continues through mid-May.

Expected Salary:

$13 per hour

Minimum Requirements:

High School Diploma

Preferred Qualifications:

The successful candidates must be -
• Willing to work extended hours when necessary on harvest days
• Willing to work off-campus at research sites on commercial blueberry farms
• Willing to work on Mondays and Wednesdays from 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
• Able to work outside under warm, humid conditions
• Able to harvest blueberries and lift 25 pounds
