EXAMPLES OF WORK Assists in answering the main Boating & Waterways Section telephone line. In addition, provide backup to Main Law Enforcement (LE) phone line one day per week (should be same day each week). Provide customer service to the general public for request of Boating Education ID cards and boating safety materials as required by FSS 327 and 328. Assists with preparation of the Boating Advisory Council meeting(s) twice a year. Update and manage phone lists for the Boating and Waterways section. Assist with the preparation and processing of travel using the State Travel Management System (STMS). Process vehicle logs for Boating and Waterways employees by entering into FleetWave and LaserFiche systems. Utilize programs such as Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Adobe Files, maintains, arranges for storage, retrieves or reproduces documents, records and reports. Reviews, assigns, prepares and tracks correspondence assignments. Maintains various databases. Reads and responds to correspondence. Take regular inventory of supply closet and notify GOC II of items needed to be ordered. This position also assists the other OPS in their assigned tasks as needed due to scheduling or workload.
