The Headlines:
In the role of Part-Time Temporary Brewery Worker (On Call) in Elkton, VA, you will be part of the Integrated Supply Chain Team. You will be responsible for operating forklifts or packaging equipment in a dynamic environment focused on shipping large volumes of packaged product. This role will be part-time (under 40 hours per week) and will be on an on-call basis. Shift hours are as follows: 7am – 7pm for days, and 7pm – 7am for nights. Starting pay will $20/hr—however, this starting pay will be raised, dependent on your skill set and experience.
This position reports to the Line Lead and works closely with their fellow Brewery Workers, Mechanics, and Electricians.

The Responsibilities:
Operate, understand, and rotate through all pieces of packaging equipment Responsible for the sanitation of all equipment on the assigned line Perform line checks, assist with accident investigations, hazard analysis, audits, and attend meetings as required Drive forklifts as trained to do so Read and interpret packaging schedule, job procedures, and work instructions Responsible for autonomous maintenance of valves, motors, pumps, filter and gear boxes including lubricating all machinery, making necessary operational adjustments, and ensuring equipment is running efficiently producing a quality product
The Other Qualifications:
Flexibility to work rotating and/or off-shifts Previous experience driving a forklift or willingness to be trained to operate a forklift Familiar with operating a computer You are comfortable with the physical requirements of this position (standing, lifting, walking)
