We are seeking a motivated individual to form part of the Cut Edge and Fit operation as a fitter at our Tonsley Laboratory. Reporting to the Lab Operations Manager, you will be responsible for providing a consistent quality product which can be delivered to the customer within expected time frames.

The key responsibilities for this position include:

Cutting and fitting of Ophthalmic lenses to all styles of spectacle framesMaking precision optical partsMonitor equipment and processes completing agreed maintenance programs as requestedCarry out equipment calibrations in accordance with quality requirementsAssist in providing customer solutions in specialty lens sourcing situationsWork in partnership with Lab Manager and team members to meet company targets and address any customer issues

The key skills required for this role include: 

Previous fitting experience not requiredMotivation to take on new tasks and learn new skillsA can-do attitude with high attention to detailAbility to communicate across various teams within the organisationReliable team member who is punctual and organised
