Position: Optical Manufacturing Associate (Night Shift)

     3 days per week, choose your work schedule

Schedule: Sunday – Tuesday, 4:00 PM to 4:30 AM
Schedule: Wednesday – Friday, 4:00 PM to 4:30 AM
Starting Pay: $17.05/hour (with potential for production bonuses)!

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Optical Lab Manufacturing Technician for our night shift operations in Salt Lake City, Utah. Operate and maintain optical manufacturing equipment during night shift hoursPerform lens cutting, edging, and finishing processes according to specificationsConduct quality control checks to ensure products meet required standardsMaintain a clean and organized work environmentFollow safety protocols and procedures at all timesCollaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlinesTroubleshoot and report any equipment issues or production problemsMaintain accurate records of production activities and inventoryAdapt to changing priorities and workload as needed

QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent is mandatoryDemonstrated experience in optical lab manufacturing or related field is strongly preferredProven ability to work night shifts is essentialExceptional attention to detail and stringent quality control skills are crucialDemonstrated capacity to work independently and manage time effectively is necessaryCompetence in basic computer skills for data entry and record-keeping is requiredPhysical capability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds is essentialSuperior communication and teamwork skills are imperativeReliable transportation to the Salt Lake City facility for night shift work is requiredCommitment to maintaining a consistent night shift schedule is essentialComfortable with a fast pace
