GENERAL FUNCTION

Lead all designated stores to success by hiring and developing a team, who consistently exceeds expectations in all areas of business operation. Deliver on financial results (sales and profit goals), customer and associate satisfaction, merchandise presentation and loss prevention.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Monitor sales and operational activities of store set daily to ensure OI objectives are met, addressing underperforming stores immediately; process involves travel to individual stores throughout area of responsibility. Recruit, hire, train and develop high quality store market managers by providing clear expectations of position, motivating and giving constructive performance feedback in a timely manner and establishing a culture of ownership and accountability. Teach and coach Store Market Managers (SMM), both in-person and remotely, to consistently achieve goals and foster execution of best practices for growth within the host environment. Create an environment that encourages the development of managers and associates; provide challenging assignments and opportunities for development; continuously building a bench of talent. Analyze key financial data and monitor operating efficiencies, creating and communicating clear action plans that optimize results. Lead and drive quality and improvement in the store set to deliver on all key performance indicators, while delivering to the customer journey experience. Manage profits and expenses and ensure proper usage of company funds. Direct and approve workforce management activities according to the brand policies, labor and operational initiatives. Ensure managers have up-to-date information and consistently execute to brand procedures, policies, expectations, standards and behaviors. Provide operational guidance and manage operational execution and ensure brand standards are met in accordance with Company direction. Ensure the protection of all company assets, and that policies and practices are being followed consistently. Model the behaviors, and hold accountable for the store delivery of a consistent and brand right patient and customer experience. Create an inspiring and inclusive work environment reflective of the brand. Ensure all Company approved safety programs are implemented and maintained. Work weekends and evenings in support of the business needs, taking responsibility for the optimal running of the stores and ensuring goals are met.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

High School graduate or equivalent 3+ years in a management role; store management experience in LC A proven track record of delivering positive results and positive growth Good business and financial acumen including operational analysis Demonstrated ability to network, source, recruit and develop teams Comprehensive knowledge of retail operations, processes and policies Good organization and time management skills Strong critical thinking and problem solving ability Working knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office Strong basic math skills Good verbal and written skills Knowledge of basic optics and merchandise Ability to travel up to 80%; must be willing and able to work weekends, and be physically in stores during times of high business need

Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements.
