Optimization and Innovation Specialist I
Basic Job Function: The incumbent provides support on projects involving data analysis, data hygiene, and data summarization and reporting. Accountabilities: + Application of machine learning algorithms. + Responsible for identifying and communicating anomalies. + Develops and generates new ad hoc and recurring management reporting. + Contributes in the automation of processes, improves new and aging process template based on business need. + Determines operational objectives by studying business functions, gathering information, evaluating output requirements and formats. + Present useful business information using various data visualization techniques. + Partners with Batch Consulting and Analytics Team to assist with the creation of result presentations. + Performs Quality Control on incoming and outgoing test files and recurring production files. + Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in business, mathematics, finance, statistics or equivalent. 0-2 years with preferred industry experience (Collections, Credit, Insurance, Market Research or Direct Marketing). + Strong oral and written communication skills + Knowledge on machine learning algorithms. + MUST Have experience in Data Quality Assurance. + Data Analytics Skills particularly Database Management or the likes + Strong problem solving skills + Knowledge of basic project management principles + Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Access) + Proficient in statistical programming, data analysis, statistical modelling and data extraction + With working knowledge in any Data Visualization or Dashboarding tool (Power BI, Tableau) is a plus + Knowledgeable in any statistical software environment (Python, R) is a plus + Ability to collaborate and interact effectively with internal and external clients + Solid time management skills, strict adherence to timelines and attention to detail + Self-motivated and able to work independently + Automation experience is an advantage.
