What is the key purpose of an Optimization Specialist?
As an Optimization Specialist, you will work with Taboola’s eCommerce and Retail global client. You will start with creating new business opportunities by strategically prospecting advertisers, leading full sales cycles and building ongoing relationships with our advertising partners. In addition, you will drive advertiser success by educating, consulting, onboarding and providing strategic advice.
In this role, you will also be responsible for optimizing and maximizing the performance of our customers’ campaigns, by turning numbers into insights into action items.
You will use your excellent communication skills and passion for digital advertising, enhance your analytical and consultative skills in a fast-paced environment. This role is an outstanding opportunity for a customer-focused and data-driven individual interested in establishing themselves as a digital advertising authority, and driving impact at scale through cross-functional collaboration with Taboola’s world class teams.
What skills and qualifications do I need?
For this role, it’s essential that you have:
5+ years of professional experience in client-facing capacity (international customers) Exceptional communication and presentation skills, analytical abilities and strong understanding of the digital advertising space Strong analytical skills to collect business intelligence by monitoring/identifying trends with data. Analytical, obsessed with data, skilled in solving complex problems. Self-motivated, entrepreneurial, and comfortable dealing with ambiguity Ability to effectively prioritize and manage tasks within a fast-paced environment Solid understanding of eCommerce / Retail business and online marketing channelsIt’d be great if you also have:
Hands-on experience and proven success managing +100K budgets across any of the following channels: Google Search, Facebook Ads, Criteo, Youtube. Client-facing experience in the digital media/online publisher space Experience in eCommerce or Retail organization Technical skills of SQL
What will you be doing on a day to day basis?
At a fast-moving technology company, no two days will ever be the same. As a Sales and Account Manager, eCommerce and Retail Advertisers you will:
Build relationships with brand and agency high level contacts and sell the Taboola offering Monitor the performance of dynamic campaigns and analyze key metrics and performance indicators to identify areas for improvement of our clients Understand client’s marketing objectives and provide data-driven solutions Identify upsell opportunities and provide strategic long term recommendations Be a product expert Own quarterly revenue goals Troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner Work cross-functionally with the Product, R&D and Support organizations to drive revenue and increase customer satisfaction Conduct A/B testing and experimentation to refine campaign elements and improve results Generate regular reports on campaign performance, highlighting key insights and actionable recommendations.Why Taboola?
