Remote Operations Center | 7/7 Schedule, 12-hour shifts
Position Overview
We are seeking experienced Production Optimization Specialists to join our Remote Operations Center team. This role is critical in maintaining and optimizing oil & gas production through remote monitoring, artificial lift optimization, and collaborative problem-solving with field personnel and engineers.
Essential Responsibilities
Tank & Inventory Management Monitor tank levels and inventory through Power BI and dispatch systems Coordinate with vendors for timely truck dispatches when tank levels are high Communicate with field personnel when urgent dispatching arises Identify and execute inventory reduction opportunities Artificial Lift Optimization Optimize plunger lift systems to maximize constant arrival rates: Troubleshoot wells with zero arrivals following established protocols Implement corrective actions to improve system performance Manage rod lift optimization program: Identify and address high fillage and high runtime wells Configure optimal settings for fillage, load, and speed parameters Implement strategies to extend rod run life through BBLs/stroke optimization Eliminate underpumping conditions across the well system Performance Analysis & Reporting Conduct regular well reviews using Identify underperforming wells daily and take steps to improve performanace Optimize artificial lift settings remotely to enhance production Prepare and deliver performance presentations for weekly engineering meetings Identify systematic issues and develop solution recommendations Document and track optimization efforts and results Required Qualifications 5+ years experience in oil & gas production operations or related field Demonstrated expertise in artificial lift systems (plunger lift and rod pump) Strong understanding of well performance and production optimization principles Proficiency in computers and software Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills Strong communication abilities for effective collaboration with field operators and engineers Understanding of oil & gas production processes and equipment Ability to analyze data and make informed operational decisions Experience with remote monitoring and control systems Key Attributes Strong analytical and critical thinking capabilities Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills Adaptable to changing conditions and technologies Problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement Working Conditions 7 days on/7 days off rotation 12-hour shifts in Operations Center Extended computer use and monitoring of multiple screens Regular communication via phone and digital platforms May require occasional field visits for training or troubleshooting Impact
