About Eye Physicians
Established in 2000, Eye Physicians offers the Northeast Nebraska area a modern, high-tech eye care experience and serves Albion, Columbus, David City, Fullerton, Neligh, and Norfolk. The practice offers a spectrum of vision and medical eye care services, including managing ocular diseases, dry eye treatment, pre-and post-operative care, and specialty contact lenses. Eye Physicians also has an on-site Ophthalmologist specializing in comprehensive ophthalmology, the latest techniques in cataract surgery, glaucoma, refractive surgery, and LASIK. To help support ongoing practice growth and maintain a competitive edge, Eye Physicians is looking to add a provider to the team of 50 professionals. 


As Eye Physicians offer the latest in preventative, diagnostic, and restorative treatments of the eye, the practice leverages advanced diagnostic technology to help ensure the clearest vision possible. Behind-the-scenes optical technology includes Optiwave Refractive Analysis, Optical Coherence Tomography, Optos, and dry eye technology. Additionally, the practice uses electronic medical records with highly advanced charting input and an image management system. A team of Optometric Technicians efficiently conducts patient workups and pretesting to enable a smooth practice flow, allowing the Optometrists to care for 20 to 30 patients daily. Customers enjoy shopping at the optical boutique that features collections of designer frames and precision lenses—plus, patients will receive personalized attention from the Opticians who assist in selecting the right frames for comfort, functionality, and personal style. 


About the Optometrist Opportunity
Eye Physicians is seeking a well-rounded, high-production Associate Optometrist who can practice with precision to ensure excellent eye health and vision care for all patients. You’ll perform all optometric clinical duties at multiple locations and work alongside our optical departments. This is an excellent opportunity to collaborate with talented professionals to expand your skillset and care for special populations and a diverse group of patients. Eye Physicians is looking for someone interested in a long-term opportunity and ambitious in driving practice growth throughout Northeast Nebraska. For the right Associate Optometrist, a future partnership opportunity may be available. 


To be successful in this role, you must demonstrate leadership, communication, interpersonal skills, and compassion for patient health and safety. In addition, the ideal candidate will be ambitious, responsible, service-oriented, community-involved, and willing to integrate new techniques and innovations that improve patient care and services. 


Minimum qualifications:

•    Optometry license in the state of Nebraska
