Established in 1965, Grand Blanc Vision Clinic has been the leader and preferred provider of quality vision care products and personalized optometric services to patients in Genesee County and surrounding areas. To increase community access to quality eye care and eyewear, Holly Vision Clinic and Iris Eyecare were established to serve residents and families across multiple cities and counties. The practice group takes a patient-centric approach to ensure clear vision for years to come, specializing in full-scope medical optometry, ocular disease diagnosis and management, and specialty contact lenses. To continue growing the patient base while preserving the legacy of high-quality eye care, the practice group is looking to add an Associate Optometrist to the team of 25 employees.
The practice group operates in a fast-paced clinical environment and utilizes state-of-the-art vision care technology to diagnose and treat a wide array of eye diseases. The professionals leverage automated optical equipment and behind-the-scenes functional technology, including optical coherence tomography, visual field, automated phoropters, corneal topographer, and cloud-based software for electronic medical records. A support team enables the doctors to spend quality time with each patient and develop a long-term care plan. Patients enjoy a family-friendly experience as they shop at a high-end optical dispensary known for its unique eyewear—plus, the Opticians provide personalized support to select the proper frames tailored to medical needs and fashion preferences.
About the Associate Optometrist Opening
The practice group is seeking an Associate Optometrist interested in a long-term opportunity to join a growing practice dedicated to providing quality eye care. You’ll perform comprehensive vision examinations, recommend vision-enhancing solutions, and promote good eye health through patient education. The main practice location accommodates up to 34 patients daily with full technician support, and the smaller satellite offices care for an average of 20 patients daily. The practice is offering negotiable work schedule—ideally four days per week. This is a unique opportunity to care for various patients and conditions while working with other experts in a supportive environment.
To be successful in this role, you must demonstrate leadership, dependability, communication, interpersonal skills, and compassion for patient health and safety. The ideal candidate will want to continuously develop skills through mentorship with experienced doctors and be willing to integrate new techniques and innovations that improve patient care and services.
