About Sussex Eye Center

Sussex Eye Center was established in 1983 and is dedicated to providing outstanding eye care and phenomenal customer service to every patient. Offering decades of experience, patients can expect a complete eye care experience in a friendly atmosphere. The team of professionals practices full-scope optometry, specializing in ocular disease treatment and management, pediatric eye care, specialty contact lenses, and vision therapy. In addition to comprehensive eye care, the Lewes practice location offers a specialty contact lens clinic and provides customers with in-depth, expert services for hard-to-fit contacts. To support Sussex Eye Center’s four locations and with plans to expand, the practice is looking to add an Associate Optometrist to its team of 26 employees.

As a well-respected business in the community, the practice is committed to preserving healthy eyesight, vital to a high quality of life. The practice utilizes a suite of advanced technology and is fully equipped with multiple visual field units, SD-OCTs, fundus cameras, optomap, corneal topography, corneal pachymetry, pentacam, and EVOKE ERG/VEP. A strong technical team and optical staff enable the doctor to examine patients, build relationships, and recommend a care plan—approximately 15 to 20 patients are cared for daily. Patients enjoy visiting a modern eyewear boutique and a personalized eyeglass fitting from the expert Opticians—plus, Sussex Eye Center includes a complimentary warranty.

About the Associate Optometrist Position

Sussex Eye Center has an excellent opportunity for a full-time Associate Optometrist to provide the highest level of patient care in a friendly and warm environment. You’ll practice full-scope optometry, provide comprehensive vision exams, ocular disease treatment, and perform contact lens fittings. At Sussex Eye Center, you’ll join an outgoing and dedicated team that treats all patients like family, which is why patients feel at home when they visit any practice location.

Minimum qualifications include:

Doctor of Optometry degree with the ability to apply for DE licensure
