SUMMARY OF JOB The Surgical Technician, under the direct supervision of the Registered Nurse, participates as a member of the surgical team in planning, preparing, and implementing an aseptic and safe environment for patients and other health team members. RECRUITMENT REQUIREMENTS Graduate of an accredited Operating Room Technician program CPR certification One to two years as an OR Technician in an operating room setting; surgery center experience preferred.
