OR TechnicianReq #:0000193698 Category:Surgical Tech Status:Full-Time Shift:Evening Facility:Jersey City Medical Center Department:Operating Room Salary:$30.56 - $40.19 per hour Location: Jersey City Medical Center, 355 Grand Street, Jersey CIty, NJ 07302 Job Overview: In collaboration with the perioperative registered nurse, the surgical technician will function as a member of the team to organize and administer individualizes age specific care to patients, maintain an environment that facilitates safe patient outcomes, and ensure patient s physiologic responses to surgery are as expected in the surgical suite and across the perioperative division. Qualifications: Required: + High School diploma or equivalent + Completion of an OR Technician training program + 2 3 years of experience + Must have strong knowledge with skill being able to scrub the following service lines: robotics, vascular, endovascular, neurovascular, general, thoracic, neuro/spine, orthopedics, complex plastic cases and trauma + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (verbally and written) + Must be able to make calls.
