As an Application DBA in ING Bank Romania Data Tribe you will be responsible for the smooth functioning of Production and Non-Production databases, solution design, advanced troubleshooting techniques.
Your Day to Day
Implement and maintain data design, including and not limited, partitioning schemes, storage lifecycleSQL optimizationsPL/SQL optimizationsUnderstand and troubleshoot complex ETL workflow from a database point of viewImplement new alerts and by using the monitoring tool to constantly improve the resilience/reliability of systems/applications;Manage capacity of storage, memory, CPUExecute performance tests, Investigate performance issuesTune applicationAssist developers with best practices, tuning and design practicesReview backup & recover setup settings, schedule and manage backups, perform and document DR actionsDeploy application functionality in Acceptance and Production;Understand the need for security and apply it using the existing security framework.Focus on compliance to ensure information is accurate and up-to-date;Document standard procedures, findings from troubleshooting sessions and operational guidelines.Tools you use in your day to day
