Job description
Infosys Public Services is seeking an Oracle Cloud HCM- Payroll Lead to join our team.
Position Description (scope of work or brief narrative):
The Oracle Cloud HCM-Payroll Lead will perform the following responsibilities:Lead and manage the payroll implementation project, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and timelines.Configure the Oracle Cloud HCM Payroll according to organizational requirements, including payroll rules, tax setups, and benefits integration.Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document payroll requirements, ensuring all business needs are addressed.Ensure that the payroll configurations in Oracle Cloud HCM comply with legal and regulatory requirements, including tax laws and labor regulations.Analyze payroll processes and system performance to identify areas for improvement and implement enhancements.Manage the data migration process, ensuring accurate transfer of payroll data from legacy systems to the new Oracle HCM system.Develop and execute test plans to validate system functionality, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing.Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including process flows, system configurations, and user manuals.Work closely with cross-functional teams, including HR and IT, to ensure seamless integration of the payroll system.Provide training to HR and payroll staff on system usage and best practices. Offer ongoing support during and after implementation.Assisted in project planning and management, ensuring that implementation timelines and budgets were met.Maintain regular communication with project stakeholders, providing updates on progress and addressing any concerns.Offer ongoing support to resolve issues post-implementation and ensure system efficiency.Stay updated with the latest Oracle Cloud features, updates, and industry trends.Continuously seek opportunities to improve existing solutions and processes.
Required years of experience, training, technical skills, and other requirements for job performance:
Basic Qualifications:Over Eleven years of IT experience, with at least three years dedicated to Oracle HCM/Payroll Cloud implementation and solution development.Proven hands-on experience in developing solutions using the Oracle HCM Cloud payroll.In-depth knowledge of Oracle HCM Cloud Payroll modules and functionalities.Good oral and written communication skills.Capable of collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications:Relevant Oracle certifications.Public Sector experience.
Educational Requirements:A Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a foreign equivalent is required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive, relevant work experience instead of every year of education.
The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email, or face-to-face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
