Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Administrator
We are seeking an Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Administrator to join our Applications Development team at Mercer. This role will be based in Mexico City. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office. As an Oracle Cloud Administrator for Infrastructure, you will be instrumental in managing and optimizing our OCI-based infrastructure, ensuring high performance and reliability while driving automation initiatives.
We will count on you to:
Oversee the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of all cloud infrastructure within OCI, ensuring optimal performance and availability.Work as part of a team to implement and manage OCI PaaS and SaaS services to meet business needs and enhance operational efficiency.Manage backup and disaster recovery (DR) strategies.Act as a Subject Matter Expert for Project Managers, Developers, and Engineering Teams to resolve technical obstacles and improve service.Configure, manage, audit, and alert on the availability and performance of the OCI environment.Manage the performance of OCI resources, diagnosing and troubleshooting issues.Design and develop automation process to streamline OCI operations, reducing manual tasks and improving overall efficiency.
What you need to have:
2+ years of experience managing Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.Hands-on experience with core (compute, storage, networking) platform, in addition to PaaS and SaaS offerings.Infrastructure experience (Server Administration, Networking, Storage, Security).A commitment to best practices and striving for the elimination of manual operational processes to promote a DevOps-oriented software delivery model.Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
What makes you stand out:
Prior experience implementing/supporting enterprise cloud management platforms.DevOps/coding skills in Python 3.x, Terraform, GitHub, and Jenkins.Experience with REST APIs to support integration of infrastructure, cloud, and PaaS technologies.
