Abile Group has an exciting and challenging opportunity for an Oracle Database Adminstrator supporting an Intelligence Community Customer.
The right candidate will possess the below skills and qualifications and be ready to handle all responsibilities independently and professionally.
Responsibilities Ensures Databases are operating efficiently and effectively.Supports database migrations and consolidations (ad-hoc and scheduled).Oversees database replication, which may include the setup for new replication activities.Develops Service Design Packages and maintains SOPs for all Oracle database systemsResponsible for insuring compliance with all regulations, upgrade and optimize the performance of Oracle Databases and support future planning effortsConfigures environments for and in support of all Oracle database related aspects of user acceptance testing, functional acceptance testing, system-level testing, database security testing, installation/migration testing, configuration/compatibility testing, and performance, load and stress testing, as well as support of systems assurance tasks. QualificationsClearance Required: TS/SCI
Degree and Years of Experience: 12 to 15 years with BS/BA or 10 to 13 years with MS/MA or 7 to 9 years with Ph.D.
Minimum of 10+ years of Database Administration (DBA) experienceMinimum of 8+ years database design including, capacity planning, configuration, migration, performance monitoring, tuning, security, data recovery and troubleshooting
Required Certifications:
IAT III (CISA or CISSP)Oracle DB certification; Version 12 or aboveCurrent ITIL Foundations certificatioDesired Certifications
Oracle Certified Master certificationRequired Skills:
