Maximus TCS (Technology and Consulting Services) Internal Job Profile Code: TCS080, T2, Band 5 Work includes designing, configuring, and managing databases to ensure the integrity, security and accessibility of the organization's data including:
• Defining standards for physical data storage, maintenance, access and security administration• Performing backup and recovery using Database Management Systems• Configuring database parameters and defining data repository requirements, data dictionaries, and warehousing requirements• Designing and implementing approaches to improve database performance, capacity, and scalability Minimum Requirements TCS080, T2, Band 5 REQUIREMENTS:
• High School Diploma or equivalent (Technical Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology is preferred)• 3+ years of experience in an enterprise IT support environment• Experience working with cross-functional teams including systems administration, networking, operations, and application developers• Familiarity with common database schema and systems including SQL and Oracle
PREFERRED:
• RHEL, Windows, and/or Oracle certifications • NoSQL and PostGres SQL experience • Experience with file store systems such as NetApp and Commvault Storage Area Network (SAN) and/or Network Attached Storage (NAS)
Will need to either possess an active Public Trust Clearance or be Public Trust Clearable. Selected candidate must also successfully pass the client clearance process
