ASRC FEDERAL (Agile Decision Sciences) is seeking a Oracle Database Administrator Senior III for one of our contracts supporting the Army. This position is REMOTE with occasional travel to the customer site required.

 

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Oracle Database Administrator to join our team supporting the AESIP mission within PEO EIS. This role requires a skilled Oracle DBA who can manage and optimize Oracle database systems, ensuring high availability, data security, and optimal performance. The selected candidate will collaborate closely with analysts to understand and meet analytic and interface requirements and will be responsible for the configuration, maintenance, and tuning of Oracle databases to support the AESIP mission.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Install, configure, and maintain Oracle database systems to meet the operational needs of the AESIP mission. Collaborate with analysts to understand analytic and interface requirements, ensuring database solutions align with mission objectives. Implement and manage high availability and disaster recovery solutions to maintain data integrity and minimize downtime. Apply Oracle security concepts and best practices to safeguard data and ensure compliance with DoD standards. Perform performance tuning and optimization to enhance database efficiency and support high-performance applications. Execute backup and recovery procedures to ensure data availability and continuity. Independently troubleshoot issues and resolve complex database problems with minimal oversight. Communicate effectively and work collaboratively within a team environment to support mission-critical projects.
