Job Title: -Oracle DBA Lead

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Oracle DBA Lead to manage and maintain our Oracle database environments. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Oracle database administration, including high availability solutions such as Golden Gate and Data Guard. This role requires strong technical skills, leadership abilities, and a proactive approach to database management.

Key Responsibilities:

Database Management: Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of Oracle databases. High Availability Solutions: Implement and manage Oracle Golden Gate and Data Guard for data replication and disaster recovery. Performance Tuning: Monitor and optimize database performance to ensure high availability and reliability. Backup and Recovery: Develop and maintain backup and recovery procedures to safeguard data integrity. Security Management: Ensure database security by implementing best practices and monitoring for potential vulnerabilities. Team Leadership: Lead a team of DBAs, providing guidance, training, and support as needed. Collaboration: Work closely with application developers, system administrators, and other stakeholders to support database-related activities. Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of database configurations, procedures, and policies.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Experience: Minimum of 7 years of experience in Oracle database administration. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Oracle Golden Gate and Data Guard. Strong knowledge of Oracle RAC, ASM, and RMAN. Experience with SQL, PL/SQL, and shell scripting. Familiarity with Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) and other monitoring tools.

Soft Skills:

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Leadership experience is a plus.

Preferred Certifications:

Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) Oracle Certified Master (OCM)
