The Financial Systems Analyst is responsible for the overall effectiveness of processes in record to report functional area of the controllership. Primary processes responsibilities include, but are not limited to, General ledger, Revenue, Inventory, Warranty, reconciliation, month end close and other special projects.

Position Summary and Key Areas of Responsibility

Defines, documents, and regularly reviews operating procedures, policies, and schedules to ensure proper recordation of results in RTR areas.

Configures and maintain Oracle Cloud Financial systems.

Manages quality and SLA compliance of services performed by Client resources.

Manages SOX documentations and acts as point of contact for SOX testing.

Coordinates with IT to ensure projects impacting RTR functions are successfully tested and implemented.

Coordinates development and use of corporate reporting within areas of responsibility

Coordinates with internal and external auditors for all requests within managed processes

Works with Controllers, F&A, Tax and other teams to ensure business processes are followed.

Identifies Continuous Improvement opportunities to improve accounting process and controls, increase efficiency and reduce costs.


Key Performance Metrics

Number and quality of improvements in metrics associated with RTR process.

Timely resolution to issues and closing periods.

Contributions to implement new projects to improve efficiency and reduce cost.

Defining new internal controls and refining existing controls for system and process changes.

Automating manual process through robotic process automation or through IT initiatives.

Improvements to the quality of accounts reconciliations.

Basic Qualifications

Undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting or MIS required.

4+ years of experience in audit, controllership, functional business analysis or related roles.

Knowledge of Basic Accounting and Revenue recognition principles is required.

Business Analysis or Superuser level for General Ledger, Receivables, Payables, Inventory, is required.

Strong problem solving and analytical skills.

Strong sense of accountability for results.

Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams to drive resolution to issues and drive process improvement.

Preferred Qualifications:

Zuora revenue, Kyriba experience highly desired.
