Description We are looking for an experienced Oracle Functional Financials Expert to join our team in Chicago, IL. This long-term contract position offers the opportunity to work on critical financial applications and systems, providing expertise in Oracle R12 functionalities while supporting strategic initiatives. The role focuses on enhancing financial processes, collaborating with global teams, and contributing to projects like migrations to Oracle Cloud and procurement platform transitions. Responsibilities: • Serve as a subject matter expert in Oracle R12 Financial Applications, specializing in areas such as Accounts Receivable, Billing, Invoicing, Order-to-Cash, and Consolidated Billing. • Lead efforts in revenue management and subscription billing to ensure seamless cash flow and accounting processes. • Collaborate with finance business teams to analyze requirements and recommend optimized configurations for Oracle financial modules. • Support strategic initiatives, including Oracle Cloud migration and transitions from iProcurement to Coupa. • Work closely with global teams to streamline onboarding processes for newly acquired entities. • Design and configure solutions to improve efficiency in financial and procurement systems. • Provide post-implementation support for major projects, addressing critical issues and ensuring system stability. • Partner with external vendors and internal stakeholders to deliver successful outcomes. • Guide the development and optimization of consolidated billing processes and workflows. Requirements • Extensive hands-on experience with Oracle R12 Financials, including Accounts Receivable, Billing, Invoicing, and Order-to-Cash. • Strong knowledge of financial configurations, cash flow processes, and accounting principles. • Proven ability to design and implement complex billing systems with upstream and downstream integrations. • Experience in supporting global Oracle environments and integrating acquisitions into existing systems. • Familiarity with transitioning from Oracle R12 to Oracle Cloud (Fusion) or similar cloud platforms. • Working knowledge of procurement solutions such as iProcurement and Coupa. • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills to collaborate effectively with finance teams. • Ability to work on-site in Cincinnati, Ohio for key workshops and business meetings as needed.
