Oracle Fusion (ERP) Technical Engineer National Veterinary Associates

Overview: NVA is seeking Oracle Fusion (ERP) Technical Engineer to join our Support Center Team. The ideal candidate will have deep techno-functional experience with Oracle cloud ERP building best-in-class, high-volume integrations. This role will be responsible for designing solutions that connect Oracle ERP Cloud and multiple 3rd party clouds or application systems to ensure a timely and reliable flow among our most critical applications.


This role will help develop and execute the technical architectural vision connecting Oracle Cloud ERP platform with other enterprise cloud applications and assist with technology enabled business transformation, best practices, reporting, process, and performance improvement. The person will work with product owners, business and technical teams and provide domain understanding of how Oracle ERP can be extended and how it can integrate with other applications. This role will have good knowledge of Oracle ERP applications in one or more areas (Financials, Procurement, fixed Assets, and Projects) from a techno-functional perspective to support integration development and identify dependencies and dataflow. The role will involve the delivery of a wide range of technical solutions across the Oracle Cloud suite.

Responsibilities: 

Designing and developing integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), Visual Builder Cloud Service (VBCS), Oracle SOA Suite, or other integration platforms.Developing and configuring REST and SOAP web services to enable data exchange between different systems.Design and develop custom forms, user interfaces, and dashboards using Visual Builder Cloud Service (VBCS)Ability to work with XML/JSON technologies to read/send information through webservices (REST/SOAP)Designing and implementing data mappings and transformations to ensure seamless data exchange between systems.Developing and maintaining integration workflows and orchestrations to automate business processes.Understanding of OCI (Oracle cloud Infrastructure) like managing domains, compartments, user accounts etc. Collaborating with functional and technical teams to understand business requirements and design solutions that meet those requirements.Performing code reviews and ensuring code quality and standards are met.Troubleshooting and resolving integration issues and ensuring system stability.Participating in project planning, estimation, and implementation activities.Staying up-to-date with the latest Oracle Fusion ERP integration technologies and best practices.Building custom reports, interfaces and integrations using Fusion Technology Stack.Good understanding of Fusion schema, subject areas, and expertise with reporting tools such as BI Publisher and OTBI.Ability to understand the business requirements, provide application design, solution and able to unit test the solution.Understanding in handling service tickets, SLA, Change Requests (CR).Having exposure to support tools such as ServiceNow.Candidate should have the ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously, interact and communicate effectively with business independently, and possess excellent communication skills.Strong knowledge in Data Conversions in Oracle Cloud ERP (File Based Data Import- FBDI).

 

Qualifications: 

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.  3+ years of experience in Oracle Financial Applications designing, developing, and deploying system integrations.Expertise in Oracle Cloud Fusion technologies, such as Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), Oracle Cloud Applications (SaaS), Oracle Cloud Platform (PaaS), and Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).Experience with database systems and SQL programming.Understanding of agile software development methodologies and practices.Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with team members and stakeholders.Relevant Oracle certifications, such as Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Certified Architect Associate or Oracle Cloud Application Development Certified Associate, can also be beneficial.
