Job Summary:
DT Professional Services is seeking a skilled Oracle GoldenGate Engineer to join our team and support our data replication needs within a microservices-based architecture in a remote capacity! The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Oracle GoldenGate, focusing on real-time data integration, replication, and transformation in cloud-native and microservices environments. This role is pivotal in ensuring seamless data flow and synchronization across distributed systems, enhancing the resilience and scalability of our applications.

Responsibilities:Design, implement, and manage Oracle GoldenGate environments to ensure real-time data replication and integration across various databasesCollaborate with development teams to integrate GoldenGate with microservices, ensuring efficient data movement and consistency across distributed architecturesConfigure and optimize GoldenGate processes for capturing and delivering transactional data in real-time, supporting critical business operationsUtilize GoldenGate to perform complex data transformations during replication, ensuring that data conforms to the target system's requirementsMonitor and tune GoldenGate processes to optimize performance, scalability, and reliability in a microservices environmentImplement GoldenGate solutions to support high availability and disaster recovery strategies, minimizing downtime and ensuring data integrityDevelop and maintain comprehensive documentation for GoldenGate configurations, processes, and procedures, ensuring alignment with best practices and organizational standardsWork closely with DevOps, cloud infrastructure, and database teams to ensure seamless integration and operation of GoldenGate within the overall system architectureEnsure that GoldenGate implementations adhere to security and compliance requirements, including encryption, access controls, and data masking where necessary
Basic Qualifications:Must posses a DoD issued Active Secret ClearanceMust posses a CompTIA Security+ or higher IAT certificationBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field OR equivalent experience may be considered5+ years of experience with Oracle GoldenGate in enterprise environmentsProven experience in implementing and managing GoldenGate within a microservices architectureStrong understanding of cloud-native environments and experience with cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, or Google CloudProficiency in Oracle GoldenGate, including configuration, monitoring, and troubleshootingExperience with microservices architecture, containerization like Docker, and orchestration tools like KubernetesStrong knowledge of database technologies, including Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, and NoSQL databasesExcellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a teamPreferred Qualifications:Experience with data integration tools and frameworks in a microservices environmentKnowledge of messaging and event-driven architectures like Kafka or RabbitMQPrior experience in a DevOps culture with CI/CD pipelines and automationAdvanced knowledge of cloud-based architecture, particularly within Azure focusing on data replication and integrationFamiliarity with security and compliance standards in cloud and microservices environmentsRelevant certifications such as Oracle GoldenGate Specialist or Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) are a plusThe compensation range for this position: $95,000 - $135,000 annually.
