As an Oracle HCM & Business Lead, you will be responsible for the technical direction and management of Oracle HCM (Human Capital Management) implementations, system enhancements, and ongoing support. This role demands advanced technical proficiency in Oracle HCM modules, combined with exceptional leadership skills. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality, scalable solutions that align with organisational goals and drive business efficiency. Your expertise will ensure the successful execution of projects and continuous improvement of HCM systems to meet the evolving needs of the business.

Tertiary Qualified (Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field)

Work closely with the business and IT resources and vendor partners to ensure that problems are resolved in a timely manner, and requests are prioritised. 
Working with the business stakeholders to determine key business needs / requirements and ensuring appropriate options are considered for Oracle HCM applications systems. Managing and QA’ing delivery of minor works & enhancements within Oracle HCM applications or other integrated systems and tracking hours utilised against a pool of available discretionary effort. Ensure all system changes are made in accordance to the Downer IT Change Management policies and procedures as well as application design principles. This includes release & deployment planning and scheduling. Maintaining clear communication with customers, key business stakeholders and vendors. Ensuring service providers maintain systems documentation and templates accurately and in a timely manner 
Providing input into roadmaps for Oracle HCM applications Solutions in terms of platform maintenance, DR scheduling, configuration item upgrades and enhancements, data archiving and decommissioning. Ensuring that IT service management processes and policies are adhered to Participate in disaster recovery exercises and remediation. Remediate audit findings and execute agreed elements, including security reviews every 6 months Close liaison with any Oracle HCM applications based projects and proactive engagement to facilitate a smooth service transition. 
Work with designated business stakeholders & IT Service Providers to establish agreed procedures aimed at maximising system data integrity. Ensure software license usage is measured and in compliance with vendor licensing terms.  Provide training and support to end-users and technical teams ensuring best practices are followedOther tasks as directed by the IT Platform Manager – Workforce Management Applications

Skills and Experience

Technical knowledge of applications being supportedExperience of SDLC application process to manage vendor deliveryExperience in Oracle Cloud HCM development, including implementation, support, and ongoing maintenance.Expertise in integrating Oracle HCM with other systems, demonstrating specialist knowledge in application integration.Demonstrated experience as a technical lead in a large organisation, managing complex projects and leading cross-functional teams.Track record of successfully managing end-to-end implementation projects across various Oracle HCM modules.Proficient in providing comprehensive system support and resolving issues within complex and dynamic environments
