The Opportunity:
As a Software Development Engineer, you will analyze, design, code, and test multiple components of application code. You will perform maintenance, enhancements, and/or development work. Your typical day will involve analyzing requirements, designing solutions, writing code, and conducting testing to ensure the quality of the application code. You will collaborate with team members and stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions.
Roles & Responsibilities:
· Development, and implementation and support of integrations using OIC
· Follow best practices and deliver quality code
· Expected to perform independently working with the WMS Business Architects.
· Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
· Contribute in providing solutions to work-related problems.
· Ensure the successful delivery of projects within the defined timelines.
· Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the project.
· Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.
· Identify areas for process improvement and implement best practices.
· Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards.
· Coordinate with functional teams to ensure seamless integration of applications.
· Prepare and maintain technical documentation.
· Assist in the testing and quality assurance of applications.
Professional & Technical Skills:
· The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Oracle Integration Cloud Service (ICS).
· Strong understanding of integration concepts and patterns.
· Knowledge of web services, RESTful APIs, and XML/JSON.
· Experience in designing and implementing integration solutions.
· Familiarity with Oracle Database and SQL.
· Understanding of best practices and limitations in OIC
· Experience in calling different webservices from OIC
· Ability to understand different architecture requirements like FTP/DB/file handling/email notifications etc.
· SOA understanding is a plus
· Good written and spoken communication
· Positive Attitude and ability to grasp is a must.
· Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
