Oral Surgery Dental Assistant - Part Time

We have a state-of-the-art dental practice at Fort Dix as part of Army and Air Force Exchange Services specifically servicing Military Families and Military Veterans. Our practice has a family feel and we focus on building relationships with our patients. Making sure to provide each of our patients with the best quality care.


Schedule: Every other Saturday from 7:30am - 2:30pm


Responsibilities:

Able to build rapport with patients.Prepare patients for dental work.Must be able to take and monitor vitals.Must be able to review and go through patients medical history.Must have excellent verbal and written communication.Strong organizational skills.Familiar with Dental software and equipment.Dental Assistants are responsible for the set-up/break down, including disposing of any bio-hazards properly. Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment.Must follow all infection control procedures.Must be able to complete clerical reporting on a daily/monthly basis. Requirements Current Dental Assistant Radiology License / DANBTwo (2) years or more of experienceX-Ray Certified, requiredCPR/BLS, requiredMust have or be willing to obtain a Real ID prior to starting, requiredN202 Certification, requiredDAANCE (Dental Anesthesia Assistant National Certification Examination) Certification, requiredSedation Course, requiredExpanded duty dental assistant preferredCoronal polishing certification preferred
