Order Entry Lead
Job Title: Order Entry Lead Job Description We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Order Entry Lead to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in order management, demonstrate proficiency in various software tools, and possess excellent problem-solving skills. This role involves collaboration across multiple departments and requires effective communication and leadership abilities. Responsibilities + Master product knowledge and utilize all software and tools efficiently (Just Foods, Batch Metrics, P21, Bar Tender, Excel, etc.). + Understand the intricacies of the order process and identify areas of concern and potential improvement. + Work with major contacts in all departments to facilitate problem resolution with the correct personnel. + Handle minor issues and customer concerns, field and direct incoming customer service-related calls and questions. + Notify the Director of Supply Chain and request assistance for major issues and areas of concern. + Report crises to the Supply Chain Manager during hours of operation, following designated procedures to protect customer relationships and company interests. + Perform coaching and mentoring to support Customer Service Team members. + Collaborate and communicate successfully with other supervisors and managers within various locations. + Report learning opportunities that enhance the overall functionality and knowledge of the customer service team. + Act as a mentor and advocate for direct reports’ growth and opportunities. + Process Customer Care Team PTO requests and schedule. + Delegate Customer Service Team workload and customer assignments under the guidance of the Supply Chain Manager. + Support sales of products from both companies as dictated by customer-specific product mix. + Conduct daily functions in accordance with company policies and procedures, and comply with all regulatory and internal requirements. + Support and promote the reporting of all health, safety, environmental, near-miss, accident, or injury incidents. Essential Skills + Order entry + Data entry + Order processing + Inventory management + Purchase order management + Proficiency in Microsoft Excel + Customer service orientation + Experience with Microsoft Office Additional Skills & Qualifications + 5+ years of order entry and administrative experience + ERP knowledge is a plus + Experience in manufacturing is beneficial Work Environment This position is onsite, Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, located in Belcamp.
