Order Entry Service Representative
Description Assist customers with inquiries about price and availability of material(s), identifying products via a description or picture, investigating issues related to their orders, generating quotes and customer inquiries, troubleshooting issues, and generating quotations. (Phone calls average 15 per day; email inquiries could be as many as 75 per day) Provide support to our Inside Sales Team, Outside Sales Team, and Market Development Managers Check the shipment status of current orders, including pro bill numbers and shipment tracking numbers. Maintain our CRM System with accurate data. This is adding, modifying, or deleting contact information. Creating prospects so they can be converted to customers. Investigate orders entered incorrectly, shipped, or the customer didn’t order enough material. Handle corrections to these orders so the customer gets the product they need. Enter customer complaints/concerns related to issues with orders or products into our quality system. Communicate effectively and efficiently with customers regarding any discrepancies or changes that need to be made to orders. Work and communicate with the outside sales team and other internal departments to conform to customer requirements. Be an active member of the CSR and Platinum ACD Phone lines. Assist in other projects as assigned. Supports and upholds the Quality and EHS policy. Upholds Core Values: Team Player, Caring, and Adding Value Skills Customer service, Customer support, Call center, Order Entry, CRM, SAP QUALIFICATIONS The requirements for this position include: • Typing skills of at least 50 WPM with High Accuracy. • Proficient use of Windows operating system and Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, OneNote). • Good communication skills to interact with team members and customers. • Good critical thinking skills to resolve questions and problems. • A high degree of diligence to ensure the correct information on orders. • Ability to work at a faster-than-normal pace with interruptions and under some pressure. • Ability to generate an email on your own without scripts. • Ability to de-escalate a phone call. • Ability to dig in to find answers. • Self-starter – the ability to learn on your own. • This is a technical position. Must be able to solve problems and learn a technical product. LANGUAGE SKILLS The job requires the ability to read, analyze, and interpret customer purchase order documents and technical order specifications. It also requires writing short memos and reports in Microsoft Word and E-Mail. It also requires sufficient verbal skills to gather and interpret information required to complete order entry accurately. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS The job requires the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide into all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals, and the ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
